Welcome Parents, Students, and Guardians,

Thank you for logging on!  I am excited to introduce myself to you and your student and Alta Vista Middle School.  I will be starting this school year as a fifth year 6th grade teacher.  I have taught all academic subjects for the sixth grade and have also taught Language Arts, Science, Math, and History for seventh and eighth grade.  (I think I LOVE the sixth grade the best!) I would love to meet with you if I haven't already. 

Let me tell you a little more about myself.  I recieved my Bachelor's of Science Degree  in Elementary Education from The College of the Southwest.  I minored in Bilingual Education. I have also finished my course work for my Master's Program this past Spring.  I will soon recieved a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology and Counseling.
